The trail starts from the parking lot for Parkdale Plaza and follows the Bow River Pathway downstream but can be started from anywhere along the trail. Gorgeous views of the Bow River throughout and all its wildlife. The trail can be extended or shortened to ones needs.

This is a nice trail in the middle of the city beginning from the nearby Spruce Cliff neighbourhood. The entrance is a bit hidden behind condos. The Quarry trail part is easy with nice views and leads to the Bow River Pathway. There is a relatively high traffic of bikers, walkers, and dogs but still, you can enjoy the walk. If wanting to extend the length or loop back to the starting point, you can take the Douglas Fir Trail.
