A long via ferrata in the Italian Alps, Sella Group. A full day trip. This via ferrata is located near Passo Sella, about 5 km north of the town Canazei, Italy. It is a serious one day tour. An excursion in Val Gardena starting from Sasso Levante near Passo Sella (2240m). The entire route leads on the path marked with number 557. It starts towards the Salei Refuge (2225m), and then passes by the Federico Augusto Refuge (2298m). Along the southern walls of Punta Grohmann it finally reaches the Sandro Pertini Refuge (2300m). The way back is the same.

This fantastic circular hike is located above Selva | Wolkenstein in Val Gardena. The path begins below the Sellajoch | Passo Sella (2240m) by the Passo Sella Mountain Resort and leads on path no. 526 over beautiful alpine meadows to the famous Rifugio Emilio Comici Hütte. The way back leads along path no. 526C and through the imposing Steinerne Stadt | Città dei Sassi (stone city) back to the starting point.

This route leads around the Sassolungo and the Sassopiatto, with the starting point near the Passo Sella where there is a paid parking lot. First, it heads in the direction of the Emilio Comici Hut, where path no. 526A begins. This leads past a waterfall and over scree to the Piza da Uridl (2102m), which offers spectacular views of the Alpe di Siusi, the Odle, the Sciliar and the Catinaccio.
