This is a nice and easy, but very popular trail for all ages and experience levels. With great views of the surrounding mountains, this mostly paved route is amazing in any season. The old railway bridge is great for photos, too. If you are up for it climb, folks recommend adding the 135 Steps up and back down just beside the TransAlta Power Station.

Johnny's Trail is a beautiful hike that leads up to Stoneworks Canyon. From there you can see the Three Sisters and Ha Ling across the valley! It's a pretty short trail so it can be connected with other trails in the area for a longer loop or just for some variety on the way back. It's frequented by locals and used by mountain bikers as well. Parking can be found roadside.

The trail surface is gravel or smooth wooden boardwalk...
