This walk begins along the Bow River before cutting through the neighbourhood to follow Canmore Creek. It's a peaceful trail that is great for the whole family and especially for young kids, as there is a small playground and an outhouse along the trail. A short detour can be taken down to the creek where there is also a waterfall!

This is a nice walk close to town beginning from the parking lot across the bridge. It starts along the river, goes up the steps, and follows along Canmore Creek and Trans-Canada Trail on the way back. There are also many other trails to choose from in the area. This hike has some nice views of Mount Rundle and HaLing and across the valley.

This multi-use trail follows alongside the Bow River in Canmore. The trail starts from the Rundle parking lot just by the Bow River Bridge but can be started from anywhere along the trail. This trail is a mix of paved trails and single track while being predominantly flat. Gorgeous open views of the Bow River and the mountains throughout. Great chance to see wildlife.

This is an easy trail, great for the whole family and a good alternative to the busy Grassi Lakes Trail. It's not hard but there are definitely some inclines here and there. The hoodoos are probably the coolest part, but you could actually miss them if you’re distracted by the graveyard. If you stay on the rabbit trails you can avoid pavement aside from crossing it to reconnect a few times. It’s hard to avoid the golf course on the other hand, as the trail goes along the perimeter of it. If...
