The trail begins at the Trace, or White, trailhead at the rear of Boling Park. If you reach the Frank Stone memorial bridge - a large footbridge built by Boy Scout Troop 241, you've gone too far. Turn around at that point, and either follow the same path back to the trailhead, or turn right (after you've turned around) at the next opening into the meadow. The meadow trail will return you to the cinder track, which will return you to the Boling park parking lot.
