This segment of the GR® 51 connects Cassis to Marseille in the Bouches-du-Rhône via the Calanques National Park. The route begins at the Port of Cassis and takes the direction of the Calanque de Port Miou. The path leaves the seaside and climbs to the Col de l'Oule then joins the Col du Devenson. Walk in the historic center of Cassis and its port, a village considered one of the most beautiful villages in Provence, in the Calanques national park, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department. The start is in the parking lot of the Post Office. After the port, this route will take you past the Saint-Michel church and the Place de la République, among other things.

This spectacular trail through the Calanques of Cassis takes you to a height. In a mineral setting that contrasts with the turquoise of the sea you can enjoy a memorable view. In summer remember to bring a bottle of water and sunscreen and prefer the coolest hours of the day. The terrain is rough, so bring good shoes. From June 1 to September 30, access to the Calanques Park is regulated by prefectural decree because of the risk of fire.

The start of this cycling route in the Calanques National Park is located north of Cassis in the Bouches-du-Rhône department. The route makes a loop through La Ciotat. It offers many breathtaking views of the creeks and the Mediterranean, especially on the way there. After crossing La Ciotat it returns to the starting point via the Pin Galaban.
