View beautiful pink flamingos and other wildlife from up close Reserva de la Biosfera Ria Celestun is a laguna in the Yucatan Province that is famous for its pink flamingos. You can take a boat tour here (1 hour for a tour to the flamingos and other wildlife and 2 hours for an additional tour through the nearby petrified forest). In addition to the flamingos you can see a crocodile in a side canal if you're lucky.

You follow this route until you reach the marina where you can see the variety of boats that come and go. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, have enough water, insect repellent and sunscreen.

Get to know the coastal town of Sisal with this short and fun tour. It starts at the Fort of San Antonio, a historic building in the center of town. Continue to the pier, where you could see fishermen and their boats. You'll walk along the uncrowded beach to the mouth of the harbor, where you'll turn around and walk down Calle 21 to your starting point.

It is perfect for mountain biking and will take you to the incredible Aktun Usil Caves, which is located in the middle of the beautiful Yucatecan jungle.
