In the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park, this walk is suitable for hiking, running or mountain biking. The start is on the Au Chalet Gillard path near the village of Le Crouzet in the Doubs department. The route combines meadows and forest. You will climb Mont Le Croz from where you will have a beautiful panoramic view of the Jura Mountains and Mont Blanc in clear weather.

The Grande Traversée du Jura (GTJ) is a long-distance hiking route of approximately 120km to cover. It starts from Métabief in the Doubs and goes as far as Giron in the Ain, crossing the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park on its way. This route will allow you to discover the beautiful mountains of the Jura. This is Segment 31 of the GR®5 which starts from Mouthe. The route will take you to Chapelle-des-Bois, 20.92 kilometers to the south.

This hike is located northeast of Champagnole and begins at the town hall of Mignovillard. The route passes through the Seigne des Barbouillons Nature Reserve, the Etang de la Fontaine Carrée, Petit-Villard, Le Martinet and Froidefontaine, among others, before returning to the starting point.
