This hike is located in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park and starts on the shores of Lake Chambon. The path takes the Chemin de l'Horloge and passes next to the Rocher de l'Horloge, the Dent du Marais, to arrive at the viewpoint on Lake Chambon (panorama). Several food outlets are accessible at the start of this hike, as well as many campsites in the surrounding area.
