The Chesapeake Arboretum has more than two and a half miles of hiking trails. There is a loop trail to the north and another to the south. The southern loop turns into an out and back for the last part. There are benches about every 1/10th mile on the north loop for resting. Although the grade is gentle, due to the uneven surface (stairs, and rocks and roots) that is less than 3 ft wide in places, the trail is not considered wheelchair or stroller friendly.
