This route starts at the George Rogers Clark Homestead and runs up to the Discovery Trail, then takes the Clarksville Heritage Trail. You can connect to the Ohio River Greenway, which loops by the river for a longer route. It is all paved and trafficked by cyclists. It winds through mostly industrial areas, but also by the river. Falls of the Ohio State Park has an interpretive center as well as picnic areas, an overlook, and plenty of areas to explore. The main attraction is walking around on the rocks in the shallow water and seeing the fossils in the rocks. There are some rocks for the kids to climb around on and some small "caves" for them to explore. There is a parking fee unless you are an annual pass holder. There is an additional fee to enter the interpretive center.
