While there are many wooded trails in Dunbar Cave State Park to explore, this is a short and easy path that leads around a scenic lake. The path is mostly shaded and travels through a wooded forest with different viewpoints of the lake along the way. There are many other trail connections in the park for those who wish to extend their hike.

This is a forested trail by a small lake that is fed by a stream in a cave. This area is a great place to see wildlife including deer, turkey, fox, squirrel, muskrat, turtles, and all kinds of birds such as swans and woodpeckers.
