Gocta Waterfall, also known as La Chorrera, is one of the largest waterfalls in Peru and South America. It is located in the Amazon region and has a height of 771 m (about 2,500 feet), which makes it a real spectacle. This route visits Gocta from the village of Cocachimba, through a walk along a path full of vegetation and with beautiful views of the valley of the Cocahuayco River in which the waters of the waterfall fall.

Gocta is a waterfall considered the third highest waterfall in the world. It is located in the Chachapoyas region in northern Peru. To get to the foot of the cascade, you have to walk from Valera San Pablo or from Cocachimba. This variant starts from Valera San Pablo and goes back and forth to the Gocta by a path in the forest offering magnificent panoramas.
