This hike is located in the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park and starts at the Saint-Pierre d'Albigny station. The route runs along the Gargot stream as well as the Isère, and passes through the Savoie Vine and Wine Museum (Vigne Conservatoire De Montmélian) and Beauvoir. The route ends by passing near the Château de Triviers and Parc de Triviers.

This walk in the Combe de Savoie, is a circuit called "Castles and strongholds" or "Route des vignes". From Saint-Pierre d'Albigny, you will arrive at the village of Cruet via the plain and the marshes and return via various old manors, some of which are in ruins: the castle of Chanay, the castle of Verdun and of Saint-Réal, by taking different balcony paths overlooking the Combe de Savoie.
