Beautiful hike on the Côte Vermeille, along the coastal path between the magnificent village of Collioure and the port of Argelès-sur-Mer, passing by the beach of Racou and the castle of Valmy. Along the way, you will have beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the rocks of the Pyrenees chain.

Hike in the valley of Collioure, which begins by following the course of the river Douy through the vineyards before seeing the old hermitage of Notre Dame de la Consolation and its chapel. You will then pass by Mollo Pass, from which you can see the Tour Madeloc. This old guard tower which dominates the city of Collioure, was erected to protect the populations from the Moorish raids on the coast. The return is via Fort Saint-Elme and the Collioure Mill, transformed into an oil mill in 2001.

This route begins at the foot of the magnificent royal castle of Collioure. Along the way, you will see several sandy beaches and pass by the pretty Mauresque Fort.

This route on the Vermeille coast, starting from Collioure, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, leads hikers to the village of Argelès-Plage. After crossing Rue du Mirador and Rue du Pla de las Fourques, hikers join the path by the sea. The route runs along the indented coast and offers a magnificent panorama of the Gulf of Lion. In Argelès, you can enjoy a pleasant swim on its very beautiful beach.

This walk will take you through the town center of the pretty town of Collioure, located between the sea and the mountains. This visit created by the tourist office is centered around nine reproductions of works of art painted by the famous painters Henri Matisse and André Derain in the summer of 1905. These painters are icons of Fauvism.
