This 13-kilometre hiking trail alternates forest, pasture, crops and wetlands. You will pass through the old mining town of the forest and the old railway line that connected the Misengrain slate quarries to Bel-Air.

Access to the interpretive trail is behind the school. Marked in blue, it follows a larger 13-kilometre circuit called "le chemin bleu". You enter the Ombrée forest, a former clay and slate extraction site, by a slightly uneven path. Soon the path becomes flat, lined with oaks and beeches. Your stroll starts at the edge of the pond of Saint-Blaise to continue under the chestnut trees, along the Misengrain stream. Historically developed by Man, notably for the extraction of slate and iron, you will discover a hilly landscape, punctuated by ponds.
