You will also pass several metro stations along the way, giving you the opportunity to skip parts of the trail if you don't want to explore a certain part.

This trail goes around the lakes in Copenhagen, of which the lakes consist of Sankt Jørgens Sø, Peblinge Sø and Sortedams Sø. The area around the lakes is known for having many different bird species that you can look at. There are also a number of benches around the lakes, where you can conveniently sit down to either enjoy the view or simply take a short break.

This trail goes through Tivoli Gardens, where the beautiful garden and the many rides can be seen and tried. As always, Tivoli is beautifully decorated on the occasion of a public holiday, which is especially visible in the form of the many decorations that stand around the garden. Tivoli opened in 1843, and is the third oldest amusement park in the world that is still in use. To get into Tivoli, an entrance fee must be paid and an additional fee for trying the rides.
