This trail goes through Tivoli Gardens, where the beautiful garden and the many rides can be seen and tried. As always, Tivoli is beautifully decorated on the occasion of a public holiday, which is especially visible in the form of the many decorations that stand around the garden. Tivoli opened in 1843, and is the third oldest amusement park in the world that is still in use. To get into Tivoli, an entrance fee must be paid and an additional fee for trying the rides.

From there the trail comes along the coast, and on through Amager and Kastrup Strandpark. From there, the trail goes back through Kastrup. The trail runs straight through Amager Fælled and back to the historic centre.

This trail goes around the lovely surroundings of some of Copenhagen's canals. Along the way, the trail will pass Sydhavnen, Frederiksholm Kanal, Slotholmkanalen and Børsgraven, where it is possible to see ducks and other birds. There are several benches along the way where one can appropriately take a break and enjoy the view.
