This trail follows forest tracks, ski slopes and a pedestrian path close to the town of Cortina. Starting from Faloria cable car departure, cross the big parking lot and the bus station, reaching the pedestrian path where once there was the railway to Dobbiaco. Follow it until Chiave and there climb to Codivilla hospital. Here you can take the forest track and there follow trail 211 to Mietres. Continue on 211 to Brite de Larieto. After a good meal/snack, go back to Mietres and there go down...

The complete itinerary of this route is as follows: Cortina d'Ampezzo - Cimabanche Pass | Im Gemärk, Vallandro Refuge | Durrensteinhütte, Prato Piazza | Plätzwiese. The departure is from Cortina d'Ampezzo, follows a cycle path up to Carbonin and then a climb to Prato Piazza (1993m), passing by the Vallandro Refuge. You return to the starting point following the same path and also passing by Passo Cimabanche (1530m) before arriving at your destination.
