We climb steadily but steadily in the middle of the ski area to reach the summit of Tothorn, which is located next to the famous Grand Bonvin. The route then joins the summit of the Pleine Morte where you will find a very beautiful glacier.

This trail starts at the middle station of Violettes named Marolies. It is located in the Crans-Montana-Aminona (CMA) ski area. The path climbs towards the Plaine Morte and its glacier with a breathtaking view of the Valais flat. You can also use the cabins of the Plaine Morte (Summit of the installations of violets) to reach the summit. This hike starts in Montana at a parking lot near Clinique Bernoise de Crans Montana and heads through the forest to the plumachite plain. Along the way, you walk first on the Route del'Astoria, then on the Route de Plumachit to the end point. For short breaks in between, the picnic areas along the route invite you to linger and offer either view of the Mont Lachaux mountain. This trail can get a little muddy after a few days of bad weather.
