This is a peaceful and enjoyable section of the Florida Trail. There is a mix of sun and shade, and a small amount of elevation change. There are some pretty large roots along the trail and wearing closed-toe shoes are suggested. Pearl Creek is less than a mile from the trailhead and makes for a great area to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

This trail begins and ends at the campground entrance. It's a great trail to view the lake, nature, and wildlife in the surrounding area. The path is well maintained, and there may be a couple of wet areas and standing water on the trail after heavy rainfall. Benches are located along the way for those who want to sit and admire the beauty of the lake. There is a small fee to enter the park for fishing.

This is a peaceful walk along a well-maintained boardwalk. There are several docks for swimming and you can tube and kayak down the creek. This area contains over 20 miles of pristine riding trails, situated in the south of Eglin. This single-track varied terrain around Timberlake Pond is suited for all levels of riders and technical abilities. There are three colors to signify level of difficulty: green for beginners, yellow for intermediate, and blue for advanced.

This trail is located at Eglin Air Force Base Wildlife Management Area (Jackson Guard) however, it is open for public use. However, visitors are required to purchase a pass from Jackson Guard on the way in. There are many different but equally fun mountain-biking trails to choose from depending on skill level.
