This walk on the heights of Cuzco will take you to the Inca ruins of Puka Pukara and Tambo Machay which are among the classics that can be visited around Cuzco. Then the route climbs to the top of a hill from where there is an interesting view of the surroundings. This route is ideal for trail running, but it can also be done on foot. Note that if you want to visit these two ruins, you will need to have your entrance ticket with you.

Loop hike from Cusco passing through some of the archaeological sites of greatest interest: first the Temple of the Moon, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay and return to Cusco stopping at the incredible ruins of Saqsayhuamán. A very complete experience on the roads of the Cusco valley. Not recommended if it's foggy, as the trail after Tambomachay is not marked at all. Bring rain gear, sunscreen, and a jacket. Weather conditions vary very fast at almost 4,000 m.

Inqilltambo is an Inca ruin in the vicinity of Cusco which was created by the Inca Wiracocha and later developed by his son the Inca Pachakuteq. It is accessible on foot from the center of Cuzco and returns on foot via the Temple of the Moon and the San Blas district. The ruin presents terraces, galleries and anthropomorphological figures in high relief. The walk starts in the town then climbs and crosses the fields and the eucalyptus forest.
