This hike allows you to start from the San Jeronimo district in Cuzco and climb up to Cerro Picol, at more than 4000 meters above sea level. The route begins in an urban area then takes the paths on the sides of the mountain to climb into the forest and then reach the top of this small mountain. The area is quite wooded but you will still have beautiful views of the valley. Due to the altitude this walk is considered difficult.

This walk in the district of Larapa in the east of Cuzco begins at the Santa Rita de Cassia church and allows you to go around the archaeological site of Larapa. It is a ruin located in the middle of an urban area and in a state of conservation that is not optimal. But the walk is still pleasant and offers views of the surrounding mountains. It is also ideal for a short jog.

A pleasant hike to take from Cusco, visiting two nearby mountains: Anahuarque, which is around 4050 meters high (13287 feet) and Huanacaure, which is around 4089 meters (13415 feet), which also has an archaeological site on its top. From both peaks it is possible to have excellent panoramic views of the city of Cusco.

A great hike visiting several of the ruins that are found on the slopes of Cusco, with beautiful views of the city. The trail begins in the Kari Grande area and goes up following the street, first visiting the Rumi Wasi ruins. Then it continues along a well-marked path to Kallachaka and in the final section, you cross the Cachimayo river.
