In downtown Cusco, all the buildings are historical and built according to colonial architecture. This walk will allow you to discover the Plaza de Armas which is of great beauty, but also the surrounding streets and alleys, passing through other small squares such as the Plaza de Nazarenas, the Plaza Regocijo or the Plaza de San Francisco. You will also pass by the San Pedro market and the Avenida del Sol which leads to the famous Qorikancha museum.

Just a couple of kilometers from the Plaza De Armas in Cusco you will find this archaeological complex of the Inca culture whose structure of ceremonial fortress with gigantic stone walls, towers, enclosures, tunnels ("chincanas"), and the formation known as Trono del Inca (K'usilluc Jink'ian) are absolutely fascinating for its visitors. But not only the architecture is fascinating, but also thanks to its 3,700 meters above sea level it allows you to appreciate excellent views of the Valley...

Loop hike from Cusco passing through some of the archaeological sites of greatest interest: first the Temple of the Moon, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay and return to Cusco stopping at the incredible ruins of Saqsayhuamán. A very complete experience on the roads of the Cusco valley. Not recommended if it's foggy, as the trail after Tambomachay is not marked at all. Bring rain gear, sunscreen, and a jacket. Weather conditions vary very fast at almost 4,000 m.
