This walk will take you to the heights of the city of Cuzco to the ramparts of Saqsaywaman, one of the most impressive ruins in the Cuzco region. This walk in the city of Cusco begins at the corner of Plaza de Armas and takes you to the edge of Plaza Regocijo where there is the Museum of Contemporary Art. Then you will continue to the San Pedro market, which you can visit, before returning through the Plaza de Armas and taking the alley of Cordoba Del Tucuman to the small Plaza de Nazarenas, the square on which there is the museum of pre-Columbian art Larco Herrera.

This tour departing from the Plaza de Armas in Cusco will allow you to climb to the Cristo Blanco viewpoint and enjoy an incredible view of the city of Cusco. On the way back, you will descend through the picturesque alleys to the bohemian district of San Blas and possibly visit the small church steeped in history. Cristo Blanco is a statue of Jesus Christ with outstretched arms that stands on the hills of the city of Cusco and measures about 8 meters (26 feet). The walk starts from the Plaza de Armas, with a gradual incline through the city and paved most of the way. The entrance to the area has shops and the entrance is free.
