This route features a thorough overview of the trails that this park has to offer. Starting by taking the trail to Green Mound, which is the historic shell mound created back in 800 A.D. The trail then heads west which leads to a boardwalk trail overlooking the Halifax River. Overall, this is a great choice to bring the whole family along.
