Explore Groningen's harbor town Delfzijl, starting on the seawall along the Wadden Sea. Here you pass monuments and remnants of the old fortified moats. You walk to Voolhok, a small nature reserve on the northern edge of the city. Then you head inland, towards Uitwierde. The wierdedorp has no more than 70 inhabitants. On top of the mound is a small church. Last, you walk on the edge of the Biessummerbos forest.
