WaddenWandelen is a regional path that takes you across the Wadden Islands. You hop from island to island and walk to the most beautiful corners. You can walk one or more routes and decide for yourself how long you make the route. This is the 6th stage over the island of Texel. From historic Den Hoorn you walk through tuunwallen landscape and flower bulb fields.

Walking route through the Dunes of Texel starting at camping Loodsmansduin. You walk through the dunes in the direction of Paal 9 from where you walk a long way over the beach. Here is also a beach bar for a break. You walk back to the campsite through the Kelderhuispolder, between the Horsmeertjes and De Geul. A beautiful walk through the national park where you get to see a lot of nature.

It is wonderful to walk in the dunes of Texel. Get a breath of fresh air in the dunes and on the beach, while enjoying unprecedented views. During this tour you will also visit some history. You will pass the old bunker located on the top of the dunes. You will also pass beach pavilion Paal 9 and the waters located in the Grote Vlak.

This walking route is a dark blue pole walk from Staatsbosbeheer. The route is a circular walk around the Pieter Rozenvlak, a valley located in the dunes of Texel. The area is a good habitat for hares and rabbits. You walk through moors with beautiful views. You pass a single small fen. There are no catering facilities on this route.
