This is one of the great trails that crosses through Windsor Heights and the surrounding areas. Waveland trail can be hiked or walked from either end, but this route as mapped here starts at the north end of Waveland Park and goes south, alongside Glendale Cemetery and Waveland Golf Course, then down to Grand Avenue where the trail meets up with and becomes Walnut Creek Trail.
