Tenderfoot Trail takes hikers up, up, and up. This route is a genuine workout to the top of Tenderfoot Mountain from the trailhead at the end of County Road 51. Many sections of this trail receive southern exposure, and as such the snow is often quicker to melt, so this is one of the trails which is accessible earlier in the warmer seasons.

Depending on weather and conditions, this trail might be a little challenging for complete beginner hikers or those with mobility issues due to some steep sections on the trail.
