The village of Dorlisheim will no longer hold any secrets for you! Go in search of the magic word by walking through the streets.

This circuit lasts about 3h30 through the Dorlisheim vineyards. By following the wine trail, explanatory panels will describe the work in the vineyard and the different grape varieties. After passing through the undergrowth, the dry limestone hills offer a wide variety of plants, then again the vineyard and the Rangenberg hillside, rich in wild orchids.

Sheltered by the Hautes Vosges, the vineyard is located on a succession of south-facing slopes, thus enjoying a micro-climate. Riesling Husaren is a pale yellow wine with brilliant reflections. After a long period of fermentation, this wine releases brioche aromas with a characteristic touch of acidity. Muscat Husaren is a dry and very aromatic white wine. Visiting the trail is not recommended during the harvest period.

This long walk leaves the vineyards of Dorlisheim to cross the Alsace plain towards the Rhine near Erstein. The landscapes will change, as will the architecture of the Alsatian houses. Gone are the wine-growing houses with their vaulted stone cellars, here are the large farms with the large porches that will appear along the way. Dorlisheim is a wine village located at the beginning of the Alsace Wine Route about twenty kilometres west of Strasbourg. During this walk, you will take a segment of the former route of the town's ramparts. These ramparts were built twice and following the same route.
