This trail is wide and great for both biking and hiking. There are some different workout stations along the way if you like that kind of thing. The trail is pretty shady the whole way and there are some great spots to look at the 66-acre Walland Pond. This is a nice little spot to get away quickly in Somersworth. Dogs have to be leashed. This loop circles through the 165 acre property alongside the Salmon Falls River. The loop begins near some open fields and then through the forest. People living in the area have been dependent on the Salmon Falls River for hundreds of years. Native groups fished the river for salmon and European settlers used it to move timber downstream.

This trail loops around the Hamilton House which was built around 1785 by local merchant, James Hamilton. The house overlooks the surrounding countryside, farmland, and Salmon Falls River. The Bridal Path passes through a forest of hardwoods and pines and by some open fields. There is a plaque marking the site of the former homesite of James Warren. Warren was a Scottish immigrant who worked as an indentured servant on the property and later came to own a 50-acre plot of the property.
