Great run or walk. Very different from nearby Bartram Forrest. The "easier" path is to go clockwise. That way the really steep parts are at the beginning. The trails are very well maintained and designed to really give you a great feeling of being out in the wild without having to travel to far out of town. If you’re looking for elevation this is a great spot as it is less flat than other trails in the area.

Oconee River Greenway is a 2.2 mile moderately trafficked paved loop trail located in Milledgeville, Georgia, that at times winds near the Oconee River and Fishing Creek. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash. There is a dog park at the Greenway, as well as a boat ramp.
