This is the official course of the 30 km route of the LittleMammut hiking event, which takes place as part of the Germany-wide mammoth marches. This route starts at Hof Emschermündung, where the Rhine and Emscher meet (although the hike can also be started closer to Dinslaken if that is easier). It follows the Emscher for a while, then turns south and meets the Hoag route, which runs near the Rhine. It then heads north and crosses the north port of Walsum.
