Start in the Düsseldorf Hofgarten, then over the Oberkasseler bridge and always along the Rhine to the airport bridge. The way back runs partly over meadow paths, can run very well in dry weather, otherwise just stay on the Lohaus dike. Again and again along the Rhine, through the Rheinpark to the beginning of the old town, there U-turn and back to the Hofgarten. No stop necessary (no crossings, traffic lights, etc.). Mostly paved footpaths, but also meadow paths and sandy paths.
