This great hike starts in the canton of Lucerne near Eigenhal. The path goes up to the Klimsenhorn. A beautiful mountain which is located in the Pilatus massif. The tip is in the canton of Nidwalden. The top of the GIpfel is at an altitude of 1,907 meters above sea level and offers you great views.

Before reaching Gantersei, you will reach Alp Rosenboden after a short ascent from the valley floor. This tour is suitable for a trip with cross-country skis in winter but also invites for a walk in summer. The starting point is the car park in Fuchsbühl near the St. Maria chapel. Then it's on the paved road up to the Rumlig River and then into open terrain. The trail leads all the way up to the Rosenboden at 1274m and then further over the Gällemösli at 1055m and one always has a good overview of the Maienstoosmoos bog.

The trail starts in Unterlauen outside of Eigentahl directly on the Rumlig river and then it goes to Lauelen and then on to the Grotzli hut, where one can take a break.
