The route reaches the mouth of the Guadalete River and from there returns along the same path. Keep in mind that there is no shade on the path.

The route begins at the El Puerto station car park and continues through Valdelagrana, the Virgen de los Desamparados salt flats, and La Cachucha beach, in Puerto Real. Return through the Parque de las Canteras and the San Roque Cemetery.

Santa Catalina Beach is located next to some dunes of enormous scenic and ecological interest. To access this beach you have to take a walkway that crosses a pine forest.
