The Bradenton Riverwalk is a paved trail alongside the Manatee River that offers a number of attractions, including views of the city and nearby bridges, a sand volleyball court, a skate park, a playground, and an amphitheater. The trail also offers multiple piers and spots for fishing. Accessibility: There are 2 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of 3rd Avenue West at the middle and to the south of the trail. With that being said, flooding is a regular occurrence here and many trails are subject to closing due to wet or muddy conditions. It is best to consult the park before heading out or wait until the dry season.

This trail takes visitors around and to the top of the Portavant Temple Mound, which is the largest Native American Temple Mound in Southwest Florida. The trail is partially wheelchair accessible, with a ramp that leads to the top of the main mound. The trail also consists of a few small sets of stairs and inclines. The site dates back hundreds of years.

The highlights of this route include an observation platform to admire the beauty of the surrounding area, opportunities for birdwatching along the pond areas, and a relatively flat hike around the eastern section of this preserve.
