This route explores the boardwalks, marinas, and beaches north of the coastal city of Ensenada. It would be good for a run, jog or walk but be careful and use a lot of caution because a large part of the route follows highway number 1 which is very busy. However, you will have very nice views of the Pacific Ocean, the boats, and sea birds.

This beautiful route begins at the Ensenada pier where you can see beautiful boats. It is excellent for walking or cycling, it will take you through the streets of Ensenada until you reach the hills north of the city. You will arrive at the Doña Petra canyon which is popular with mountain biking fans, although it can also be explored on foot. This route runs along the summit of the Ruiz mountain range south of Ensenada, and connects with the area called Miracielo. From the top of the hills, you will have beautiful views of the city to the Pacific Ocean. The trail is long but not technical and the elevation is not difficult. There is no shade at all here, so it is important that you bring plenty of water and sun protection.

Desert trail begins south of Ensenada on Blvd Paseo de las Flores. From the top you can enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean and the desert hills that surround you. This route does not have shade and it is recommended to have sun protection and enough water. The moderate difficulty is due to the increased elevation when going up the hills.
