The starting point of this circular route is Ermatingen and it walks through the natural landscape. First it goes to the shore of the Gnadensee lake and then the path leads into the forest and then through the small village of Helsighausen. Then follow the path and walk through Fruthwilen. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.

The trail from Ermatingen starts there and runs along the banks of the Untersee. After a few kilometers you reach Steckborn. Then it goes down to Glarisegg Castle with great views of the beach, forest and torrent. Then you also pass a ruin and pass the idyllic Neuburger Weiher.

A great, short route right on the shore of Untersee, the western part of Lake Constance. It always runs along the shore from Ermatingen to Mannenbach and offers a fantastic view along the entire route. There are several bathing opportunities with sunbathing areas along the way.

On this tour there is certainly no lack of visible contemporary witnesses of the Napoleonic family. It starts in Ermatingen and at the Napoleon Tower with over 200 steps and a height of 36m. Along the way you will pass Arenenberg Castle and Napoleon Museum, Salenstein Castle, the ruins of Sandegg, Eugensberg Castle and Wolfensberg Castle.

The path begins in Ermatingen at the train station and then it goes right through the cultural landscape. It follows small paths over the Wolfsberg hill and also the Wolfsbergerbach stream. Passing the Langwis-Mösli, it then continues through the forest and to the shore of the Gnadensee lake. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.
