Siuntionjoki offers several kilometers of varied and breathtakingly beautiful scenery for paddlers. The river has been called the Amazon of Finland. Along the route are fields, woods, lakes, and even the 16th century Sjundby Castle. There are also several places on the way where you can stop to rest and eat snacks.

Palakoski's 85 hectares offer nature, scenery and outdoor opportunities. Here you can go hiking, trail running, and even berry or mushroom picking. The Palakoski circuit runs around the area, climbs three scenic cliffs, along the Palakoski shore, and the shores of Lake Palojärvi. From the Palakoski tour, you can climb the stairs to the Mummusali observation deck, which is signposted along the route.

Near Siuntio, on the west side of the Meiko Nature Reserve, is Lake Lappträsk. The shoreline of the lake offers stunning scenery and varied terrain. The lapping of the lake calms the mind, the rock walls remind you of the power of nature. There is even an old bunker along the route. The area is a great destination for a day trip. The route runs through nature reserves and is not marked in the terrain. There is no winter maintenance on the route.

The Meiko nature reserve is a gem in Kirkkonummi, just a short distance from the Helsinki metropolitan area. The trail runs through beautiful woods and cliffs, and is also called the Four Ponds Tour. The road has a steep climb right at the start, but sturdy stairs help you climb. There is a camping area on the shore of Korsolampi where you can enjoy solitude even though you are next to the capital. There is a fire pit and a toilet along the tour. The route is marked in green.

The Meiko nature reserve is a gem in Kirkkonummi, just a short distance from the Helsinki metropolitan area. The route runs through the fern forest and cliffs, along the shores of Lake Meikojärvi around Näseudden. There are a couple of steeper, root-covered climbs on the way so it’s not suitable for strollers, but the loop is otherwise good for even smaller visitors. In the thick forest you can hear a cuckoo or see a flying squirrel. There may be a loon on the lake. There are two toilets...
