This route follows the Ill river and allows you to discover many curiosities which will be as many occasions to make a stop: flowered villages, chapels, Peasant Museum of Oltingue. Ferrette, a medieval town built in a picturesque site, is also on the circuit. The map of the 9 circuits is distributed free of charge in the Tourist Office offices. Topoguide sold at the rate of 5€.

This hike starts in Ferrette, near the Saint-Bernard-de-Menthon de Ferrette church. The route passes by, among other things, the Rue des Orfèvres, below Mount Rossberg (culminating at an altitude of 675 m), the village of Bendorf, the Chemin du Kastelberg and by Roman remains, before returning to the starting point. .

This itinerary starting from the Saint-Bernard-de-Menthon church will allow you to discover the historical and natural monuments of the community of Ferrette. You will notably pass through the medieval garden, the Château de Ferrette, Loechiefelsen, the Plateau des Nains and the Grotte des Nains, Mount Rossberg (675m) and the Tour du Rossberg.

This circuit to the southwest of Sundgau crosses the medieval city of Ferrette, runs along the Grumbach valley, and sets off to explore the Alsatian Jura. Relaxing at the Courtavon lake or observing Morimont castle can be the subject of a short detour. A small passage in Switzerland requires to bring an identity document.

This hike around Ferrette is an opportunity to visit the ruined castle, and the city of the powerful counts of Ferrette. Narrow and romantic paths lead to amazing limestone promontories, and to the mysterious Grotto of the Dwarves, where a famous legend is told. The route can be extended to include the Rossberg panoramic tower, and complete an 8 km loop. To do this, follow the signs of the Vosges club, the blue disc, over the entire length of the course.
