A nice bike ride in the hills of Florence and Mugello, starting from Florence. The route begins uphill towards Ponte a Mensola, and between paved roads and paths, it passes by Castel di Poggio and reaches Poggio Pratone (702m). The itinerary descends slightly towards Colle Guadagni (651m), Vetta le Croci (518m), and Poggio Capanne (598m) until it reaches the Sanctuary of Monte Senario. From here, it is possible to admire a beautiful panorama before starting the return.

The start of this route is in Coverciano. From here you go up to Settignano to take the CAI path 2. Arrived towards Vincigliata, take path 6 for Poggio Pratone. Once you reach the ridge behind Fiesole, go back down the CAI path 9 which comes out in Querciola through a beautiful Roman road that follows a stream.

A nice tour of the city of Florence, starting from the Campo Marte railway station, the itinerary proceeds in a loop on the quieter right bank of the Arno which houses some of the best historical and artistic finds of the city. The city has a warm and pleasant climate in spring and autumn, in summer it is very hot, so it is advisable to bring plenty of water and a hat.
