This is a convenient and scenic natural area that is close to town and great for getting a quick walk in. The trail travels through a forested area and this park preserves a lot of unique local flora and fauna to the area. Parking is located at Mary Esther Post Office, which is right across the street from the library.

This trail is located at Eglin Air Force Base Wildlife Management Area (Jackson Guard) however, it is open for public use. However, visitors are required to purchase a pass from Jackson Guard on the way in. There are many different but equally fun mountain-biking trails to choose from depending on skill level.

This single-track varied terrain around Timberlake Pond is suited for all levels of riders and technical abilities. There are three colors to signify level of difficulty: green for beginners, yellow for intermediate, and blue for advanced.
