This is a wonderful path that travels next to the Trinity River and offers great recreational opportunities such as walking, jogging, and cycling. There are sections of paved and unpaved surfaces. Many views of the city, bridges, and rivers can be seen along the way. The route is mostly shaded with few sections of sun.

This route features some scenic views of downtown from certain viewpoints along the way. There is beautiful vegetation and an abundance of wildlife in the area to observe. The trail can become muddy during wet conditions and waterproof shoes are recommended. There are some sections of rocky paths that can make navigating the terrain a bit challenging- sturdy footwear is suggested.

Tandy Hills Natural Area is a remnant of prairie located in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas. The park is managed by the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge and allows visitors to explore the beautiful prairie flora which holds over 500 native plant species. This park is parallel to I-30 and only 5 minutes from the downtown Fort Worth area.

This area is a wonderful spot for enjoying a nice hike or ride through the woods. The trail can become muddy during wet conditions and waterproof shoes are recommended. Enjoy views of the river and the many wildlife in the area along the way. Surfaces vary from pavement to singletrack on natural tread.
