This trail follows the beautiful Rappahannock River through the Fredericksburg Quarry. The route shown on this page is a combination of the Scout Trail and the Beach Trail. There are miles of trails in this area. There's a tunnel that goes under I-95, trails made of logs, viewpoints, and some uphills. For mountain bikers, this is not a fast trail, but technical at times with a lot of roots, rocks, and drainage problems. Swimming and fishing are not permitted in the quarry.
