The hike begins at the parking lot on Mittådalsvägen by Lillåsvallen. You follow the orange marking and go up towards Ånnfjället. The trail offers barren landscape with magnificent views from the top of Ånnfjället which is 1301 meters above sea level. Along the trail you pass Sweden's highest tree line, 960 meters above sea level and Ånnfjällstjärnen (pond) which is located at 1100 meters altitude.
