The Pfrontner mountain has two very different faces as far as the approach is concerned. From the top station of the Breitenberg Bahn there are only 100 vertical meters to cover in wide riding and walking paths, so that you can meet many excursionists on this side of the mountain. However, if you climb from the west, you have to overcome 900 meters, but experience a beautiful and comparatively lonely ridge walk. This circular walk leads around the Breitenberg.
