This is a great, shaded trail with plenty of opportunities to see wildlife in the area. There is a good mix of hills to add some elevation gain along the way. The trail is mostly shaded and travels through a forested area. Bug spray is recommended due to the number of bugs present in the warm months.

This trail starts off wandering through a forest of pine and oak. Hike into the ravine where you will see hickory, gum, and magnolia trees. There are sinkholes throughout the trailside. The park has a fee of $4 per vehicle and $2 per extra passenger charge. Paying is accepted on the honor system and exact cash is required.

This is a fairly well-marked trail and features decent elevation gain throughout the route. The trail wanders through a beautiful forested area and there are many opportunities to see wildlife along the way. This is one of the less-trafficked trails in the park but it is certainly worth the visit.

This route uses the Old Spanish Way Trail to form a loop with the Spring Grove (yellow blazes) Trail. The trail is mostly shaded, which makes for a great family-friendly route to choose for a summer day. There are many other scenic spur trail connections in the area to shorten or lengthen your route.

This is a very well-maintained and nicely marked trail, that travels over an old service road along sandy surfaces. The trail is mostly shaded and travels through a forested area. This route makes for a quick hike, but can easily be connected to other trails in the area. Look out for the blue-blazes on the trees along the way.
