This is a pleasant, short hike off of West Scott Lake Drive, near the southern end of the lake on the west side. This route, while not an intense workout, is a very nice trail with trees and a spring at one end. It's quite flat and the terrain is easy to navigate, so this is a great walk to do with kids. If you're looking for a longer trip, you can easily add on any of the nearby connecting trails.
